Plus/And’s Water Water Everywhere is a playful, poetic, inquisitive project that has hidden bits of joy for all ages. It is a sculpture, a scavenger hunt, and a conversation with and about water, hidden in plain sight.

Water Water Everywhere is shaped out of familiar urban materials to both create an unexpected play environment and ask important questions about the role of water in our lives. The main sculpture invites visitors to move around and through it, and to climb to different spots in the park for a different perspective of the piece. Water Water Everywhere is a sculpture, a scavenger hunt, and a conversation with and about water, hidden in plain sight.

This installation invites Waterworks Park visitors to consider how they can continue to enjoy water as an abundant, ubiquitous, and precious resource.

This project is supported by citizens and developed as part of Group Creatives’ public art master plan for the City of Grimes.  

Plus/And is a Minnesota-based civic design studio built on the belief that stronger relationships make better places. Using public art and experience design, the studio creates tools and spaces that help people connect with each other and their environment to adapt to our evolving world. Their projects are joyful art-based experiments with measurable outcomes for our community collaborators.
